Nick Krsnich
Mr. Krsnich has 36 years of Financial Service experience concentrated in investment and risk management. He serves as the Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer of JMN Investment Management (“JMN”). JMN has a strong track record managing RMBS securities and has consulted for some of the industry’s premier financial service companies and private equity firms. Mr. Krsnich was featured in an article in the July 5, 2013 issue of the Wall Street Journal titled “Investor Escapes Trouble — At a Cost”. See Articles & Publications.
Mr. Krsnich served as Chief Investment Officer of Countrywide Financial Corporation and as a Board Member of Countrywide Bank. Mr. Krsnich was Head of Capital Markets at Bank of America Mortgage. Mr. Krsnich’s tenure at Countrywide is described in an article published by the New Yorker in 2009 called “Angelo’s Ashes”. In 2007, “the collapse of the mortgage market predicted by Krsnich finally occurred”. See Articles & Publications.
JMN managed the Colchis RMBS Fund and the JMN Non-Agency RMBS private funds returned 50% and 30%, respectively over 18 month periods from 2010-2013. From 2014-2020 The JMN Opportunities managed account strategy outperformed its benchmarks providing higher income in a zero-interest rate environment. Mr. Krsnich is currently a managing member and portfolio manager for the Neptune-GBX Gold Plus Fund LP.
Mr. Krsnich was a minor league baseball player in the Baltimore Orioles and Detroit Tigers organizations. He graduated with a MBA in Finance from the University of Florida in 1983 and was voted to the Southeastern Conference All Academic and Athletic Teams. Mr. Krsnich and his wife, three children, and two grandchildren reside in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Mr. Krsnich is a Registered Investment Advisor and Commodity Pool Operator.
